January 1905. Detective Rodion Vanzarov, investigating a mysterious murder of a girl, finds himself at the center of events unfolding around Professor Serebryakov’s invention. The scientist reconstructed the recipe for the ancient drink of the gods—one that grants people incredible abilities. The inventor is being hunted by the Secret Police and revolutionary terrorist factions alike, with no regard for sacrifices. Anton Chizh is a popular author of detective novels written in the retro-detective genre. The main character of his books is a young detective, Rodion Vanzarov, for whom an entire series of novels has already been published. Based on the author’s books about the adventures of a talented swindler, the TV series “Agatha and Investigation” was made. Anton Chizh not only writes books, but also actively develops his own literary agency. The audio series is created based on two of the writer’s novels: “Divine Poison” and “Five Drops of Death”.
