A perfect job in the capital—this is the dream of Ketsia Pascal, a graduate of the Magic Academy. She’s ready to step over heads if only she can make it in time for the interview. Add some itching powder to a competitor. Or slip some laxative to a competitor. And all for the position of personal assistant at the company “Richards & Co.”

What does the company do? Who is the boss here? That’s completely irrelevant. But what if the main office tool is a shovel, and the boss is a demon—maybe that still matters, after all?
