“Open the door right now! Stop the car!” I demanded, angrily trying to yank the handle of the locked car door, which was rapidly rolling along a bumpy road.
“Calm down,” this inadequate type answered briefly.
“I told you—don’t escort me! Are you deaf?”
“I heard,” he wrinkled his face. “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything bad to you.”
“Are you joking?!” I snapped nervously. “You grabbed me, forced me into the car! Now you’re driving me somewhere! This is all already bad!”
“Don’t exaggerate. Say too that I stole you.”
“You have!” I threatened. “If you don’t stop the car immediately, I’ll report you to the police and you’ll go to jail.” I noticed that we’d already left the roadside and were moving along an empty, barely lit road.

I wanted to spend my holidays at a ski resort—and ended up in the hands of some arrogant, domineering man. He stole me and demands that I live with him and cook for him. Funny? It’s not funny for me. His cook got married and left. And what does that have to do with me?
