Last summer, Alexandra Fedorovna’s daughter disappeared. The last time she was seen was at a railroad crossing. A year later, something strange began in the village: first you could hear cracking—the spruce flooring crunches under someone’s feet—then you can make out eyes: two red headlights, like at the crossing, only small, as if burning. “Koso-bochka!” the villagers whisper, and they run away. Could it be him who took Alexandra Fedorovna’s daughter? No one knows where the monster came from or how to deal with it. How many girls will vanish? And what if one day everyone in the village can become a monster too?
