“Don’t Eat Me, Grey Wolf!” — a novel by Motya Gubina from the cycle “Slavic Fairy Tales,” written in the genres of Slavic, humorous, romantic, and adventurous fantasy.
Kind people almost sent me to the bonfire, thinking I was Evil (Likho). But I’m not— I simply fell into a different world straight onto the back of the Grey Wolf and desperately tried to protect my panties.
Who would have thought that afterward we’d end up tied together in such a way that we couldn’t separate: he needs to get rid of a mysterious curse, and I need to somehow get used to the new reality.
So the poor Grey Wolf has to save me from trouble again and again. And I, a grateful girl, promise to cook him porridge… the same kind I used to cook for the village pups.
What, offended? He claims he isn’t a wolf at all?
Oh, what a twist…
