Description
In mid-June 2011, the thirty-six-year-old abbot of the Mingyur Rinpoche Buddhist monastery sets off on a wandering retreat. The idea was suggested to him by his father, Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche—a renowned meditation master.

And so Mingyur disappears into the streets of the Indian town of Bodhgaya. For almost four years, he must live under conditions of absolute uncertainty and try to accept everything that happens as a foundation for realizing the importance of meditation.

Through his own example, the author of this book shows how inseparable meditation is from our life—and how it helps us stay brave and open in any situation. Even… while dying.

Listeners of this book get a unique opportunity to look at every moment of life through the eyes of a person who has practiced Tibetan Buddhism for a long time. They will also learn how a famous Buddhist worked with emerging emotions, using methods he studied since childhood.
