“Get in the car!” A black SUV pulls up beside me. Vadim steps out and glares at me menacingly. “I’m not going anywhere with you!” I declare. I turn around and keep walking. Nothing will make me go with him.
“Did I say something unclear?” the man doesn’t let up, grabs my hand, turns me toward him, and angrily stares into my eyes. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me toward the car. I resist, trying to break free, but they shove me into the cabin by force and lock the door.
“Calmed down?” He sits next to me and blocks the door again.
Damn! Damn! Damn! I didn’t have time!
“What do you want?” I ask, exhausted.
“You’re carrying my child, Zhenya. At the very least, I want a son.”
