On the phenomenon of the clairvoyant and healer Edgar Cayce, E. I. Roerich wrote in a letter dated 28.IV.49 ("Letters to America," vol. IV): “The appearance of Cayce is a remarkable phenomenon. Of course, it happened under the Ray of the Power of the Light. Cayce himself was exceptionally morally pure; it is hard to find his replacement. Such guides, mediators, are needed—but without inner purity it is impossible to have such a high, astonishing manifestation of the Power of Light. But our contemporaries did not show understanding; they did not demonstrate due care for such an extraordinary person and for this manifestation of the Power of Light.”
Answering her correspondents’ questions about the brilliant American inventor John Keely, who worked with the energy of the Ether, E. I. Roerich wrote in 1935: “It is interesting to note that his books are extremely rare now and, as always, probably read behind closed doors. Keely is yet another victim of human ignorance and baseness.”
We’re glad that it’s time when these books have become accessible and necessary (the magazine “Delphis”).
