Nikolai Mikhailovich Karamzin is a historian and the greatest Russian writer of the sentimentalism era, nicknamed the “Russian Sterne.” He created “History of the State of Russia”—one of the first comprehensive works on the history of Russia.
The release presents a historical novella by Nikolai Karamzin “Natalya, the Boyar’s Daughter” and the novella “Poor Liza,” which laid the foundation for Russian sentimentalism.
