Description
Three stories about how the familiar world of the heroes begins to crack, pushing them to reflect on the fate of love’s boundaries and the illusory nature of their own “self.” Voronin explores how fragile human identity becomes when it collides with a cruel reality.

Gennady Voronin (born 1993) is a writer; he lives in Moscow and manages projects at Yandex. He graduated from Creative Writing School.

“Breaking the Order” is three stories about how a person responds when their usual world order collapses.

In “The Hunt,” the main character tries to build a life like a mathematical equation. If all actions have reasons and everything is predetermined, can the future be predicted?

“In the Closet” is a story about blind motherly love and an attempt to find out what is more terrifying: the loss of a loved one or the realization that they were always a stranger.

In “The Glasses,” a university professor faces a diagnosis that destroys not only his plans, but also his usual perception of himself.
