1987. Moscow. Vesna accidentally finds in a hiding place letters from her father, a Serbian diplomat whom she had long considered dead. The mystery of her birth, her mother’s death, and the years she spent in a Soviet children’s home once again become pressing questions. Vesna makes a fateful decision. She buys her first ever overseas tour—“Hungary—Yugoslavia”—with the goal of finding her family. Her colleague Viktoriya also joins her on the same trip. From that moment, both of their destinies take a sharp turn. Dreams of a happy life in a capitalist country come true—but very soon they crumble to dust. What will the main heroine have to endure after deciding to move to Yugoslavia?
