On the Sherna, or the Wandering Cemetery

Strange things happen in the forests near Moscow. Either a traveler strays off the familiar path and ends up in the arms of a young beauty, or some other devilry seems to materialize—so that, it turns out, the forest is unfamiliar and the places are unknown… And that’s how Andreyka returned from school to his home—yet unexpectedly he got lost in places he had known since childhood, and something happened to him that defies any logical explanation. But Andreyka doesn’t feel any easier because he’ll never be able to live as before again.
