Memoirs of Vladimir Khristianovich Davatz (1883–1944), a mathematics professor at Kharkiv University, who joined the Volunteer Army in the summer of 1919 as an ordinary volunteer. He served on the armored train “To Moscow.” In 1920 he remained with the armored train units of the Russian Army of General Wrangel, was evacuated to Gallipoli, and then to Bulgaria.
