Murat

Ardis Audio Studio presents a novella by the French writer Alexandre Dumas “Murat,” included by the author in the cycle “Famous Crimes.” Murat, marshal of Napoleon Bonaparte, for special merits was made king of the Neapolitan Kingdom by Napoleon—but he didn’t hold on to it. After being overthrown, he went to France to serve again under Napoleon’s banners. But Bonaparte was unwilling to forgive the man who once betrayed him, and Murat was imprisoned and later executed by firing squad. The novella tells the story of the fall of this famous man.
