We Didn't Mean To…

When my pregnant friend asked me to come to work earlier so she could go see a doctor, I didn’t think we’d be dragged into a portal— and not just us, but with someone else’s child. Now we’ll have to figure everything out and find a way back, because the boy has to be returned to his parents. But whether I want to go back myself, I’m not sure.

How will I explain to the police that we didn’t kidnap the child on purpose? He just followed us—didn’t he???”
