Music of the Ghosts

Fleeing from Cambodia to safe America, Tira returns to her homeland for the first time. She needs to meet a mysterious stranger known as Old Musician, who sent her a letter promising to tell the truth about Tira’s father—about him and his mysterious disappearance 25 years ago.

Tira will come to search for answers and to open the vessels of her memories. In Cambodia, people still can’t forget the “Red Khmer”: victims and executioners live side by side, finding no peace.

“Music of Ghosts” is a piercing hymn to forgiveness— a tragic journey into the past, where you have to return to begin life anew and find love again.
