Moonfleet

“Munflit” by John F. Volkner is a spirited tale about Dorset smugglers of the eighteenth century. The fifteen-year-old orphan John Trenchard is expelled from his aunt Jane’s home. He moves to live at a local inn with the mysterious Elsevir Block, whose son was tragically killed by customs officers. Unofficially adopted by Block, John must learn the reasons behind the nighttime commotion in the cemetery, the lost treasure of Blackbeard, and uncover the secret of Elsevir Block.
