The Ardiss audio studio presents Jack London’s novel “The Sea-Wolf,” one of the most famous American writers in our country. The book proved so popular that it was adapted for film nearly a dozen and a half times; and in the very first adaptation, in 1913, the writer himself played an episode role. One of the main characters was modeled on Captain Alexander McLean, who was accused of more than 70 murders and was sought in five countries. The novel is built around a clash between two vivid personalities and two different life principles.
