Milkman

In an unnamed city, being interesting is dangerous. The middle sister tries to hide from her mother her relationship with a faithless boyfriend—and even more, the repeated meetings with the mysterious Milkman. When the local community finds out about this secret connection, the middle sister—until then no different from anyone else—becomes the object of close attention from everyone: relatives, friends, neighbors, the special services. And that’s the last thing she wanted. Sad and funny at the same time, "The Milkman" could have been written by Gogol if only he were born a century later and read Joyce.
