Listen to his new engrossing novel-memoir about life in a Greek province.
After many years of searching for the perfect place for a summer house, a Moscow family bought real estate on the Aegean Sea coast, fully confident that minor cosmetic repairs would instantly turn the new home into a dream house. However, the quality of the construction turned out to be so poor that, to put the house in order, the author—once a popular TV host—had to live in construction dust for a long, five and a half years. During that time, he managed to fall out with contractors, make friends with neighbors, take under his wing homeless cats, learn local customs, become a writer, publish three books, and go through an incredible number of amusing adventures.
