Inga Soms is a poet and prose writer, laureate of the Korneychuk Prize and the children’s poetry festival “Kora-Stikh.” In her new novella “I’m not weak!” she tells the story of Vasylisa, a girl with very beautiful long hair. Vaska is going to camp for the first time in her life—though not any camp, but a sports one. There she plays tennis, makes friends, and meets Mark. Because of her stupidity and being in love, Vasyka makes a bet with another girl. If Vasylisa loses, she has to shave her head bald. But do hair come before love?
