The third book in the six-volume series “Jesus Christ. Life and Teaching” is devoted to the miracles of Jesus described in the four Gospels. Miracles were the aspect of Jesus Christ’s work that drew the greatest interest from those around Him during His lifetime. Each of the Gospel miracles is examined separately. At the same time, according to the principle adopted in scholarly literature, all miracles are grouped into four categories: healings; exorcisms; miracles connected with nature; and the raising of the dead. Separate chapters are devoted to Jesus’ first miracle, described in the Gospel of John, and to the Transfiguration, recounted in all three Synoptic Gospels.
