Well-known psychologist Miss Lucy Peem is invited to read several lectures at the Layce women’s sports college. Lucy immerses herself in the atmosphere and with interest studies the sweet and cheerful girls. Soon one of the graduating students tragically dies. Miss Peem suspects it was not an accident, but a carefully planned crime, and asks herself: “Who would benefit from this?” Eight years ago, the young Patrick Ashby, the heir to a huge fortune, disappeared without a trace. All these years they believed he was dead. Unexpectedly, some Bret Farrar appears at the Ashby family estate, claiming to be Patrick.
