The Snowstorm

The plot of the story “The Blizzard” was born while the writer was returning from the Caucasus to Yasnaya Polyana. The narrative is told in the first person. The main character, during a severe blizzard, sets off on a sleigh on a dangerous but necessary journey. Only by a miracle does he and his companions manage to avoid death.
