Dead Bay

After leaving the army, Igor Krymov goes to his native stanitsa on the shore of the Black Sea. A pleasant company, sun, and a beach promise an excellent vacation. But Igor gets something completely different than he expected. He becomes a witness to inexplicable and terrifying phenomena. First, a ghost of an unfamiliar woman “won’t let” him onto the beach. Then, near the local cemetery, a phantom of a man who died recently appears. According to neighbors, they were husband and wife, separated by a terrible tragedy. Krymov decides to find out the details and learns a story in which, where the ghosts are supposed to be, there are very real people drawn into an unrelenting war for a place in the sun…
