Plato, student of Socrates and teacher of Aristotle, is considered the greatest thinker in history. He developed philosophy as a system of knowledge and, in his writings, discussed the concept of virtue and the highest knowledge. His dialogues—“Protagoras,” “Phaedrus,” “Menexenus,” “Euthydemus,” “Gorgias,” and “Meno”—examine the problems of upbringing, education, knowledge, truth, good and evil.
