At the age of nine, Fanny Price leaves her poor home and goes to Northamptonshire County to live in the house of her wealthy uncle, Sir Thomas Bertram, in the cold and grand Mansfield Park estate. Gradually, the girl falls in love with her cousin Edmund. But when the magnificent Henry Crawford and his majestic sister Maria arrive at the estate to visit, everything changes swiftly and catastrophically.
Home entertainments, family plays, bustle and fun spark unprecedented rivalry and jealousy. Fanny is forced to fight to preserve her own independence, and, as far as possible, to save love.
