Memoirs of a Mirror

Living in a boarding house, Anastasia Lebedeva—once a famous Soviet actress—keeps returning in her thoughts to her vibrant and contradictory youth. But she confides only with her daughter-in-law, Maria, who tries to get closer and build a relationship based on trust. Their conversations gradually bring unexpected details of Lebedeva’s biography to light—attractive, troubling, and in places even frightening. What exactly did she choose to hide? And what goals is Maria really pursuing? The answers still have to be found, as they dive deeper and deeper into the past that doesn’t let them go for a single second.
