Leonid Yuzefovich, a well-known writer and historian recognized for his documentary and historical works, as well as for numerous literary awards, surprises the public with a new angle. His first poetry collection is a kind of anthology, gathering both reflections on the science of history and short stories about people he knew or happened to meet. Among his notable works are documentary-biographical novels about Baron Ungern and General Pelyaev, novels and short story collections, including those devoted to the Mongolian theme. His new book “Memoir” combines poems written from 1965 to 2023, and an autobiographical essay about his love of poetry, which accompanied him throughout his life.
