Description
Barcelona, the beginning of the 20th century. For the first time, nine-year-old Lewis Ross notices on La Rambla the legendary kiosk “Canaletas.” Enchanted by its beauty and its special atmosphere, he decides—at any cost—to link his life to this place. Then he could not yet imagine that a childhood vow would change not only his future, but also the destinies of the entire Ross family.

Years later, it is at the kiosk selling drinks on La Rambla that Lewis meets Laura—and falls in love instantly. But social conventions and prejudices stand between them: to be together, they must face trials and prove that their feelings are stronger than circumstances.

Meanwhile, the fast-paced and turbulent 20th century gathers momentum, while the kiosk on La Rambla remains unchanged—like a lighthouse that lights the way for those who have lost their path and calls them back home.

“Lighthouse on La Rambla” is a love confession to Barcelona, to its people, and to La Rambla itself: a noisy, lively, legendary street, whose unique charm it is impossible not to give in to.
