Description
Lima, the capital of the Peruvian Republic, the 1820s. Martin Paz, the son of an indigenous chief, is in love with Sarra, the daughter of a local moneylender. Her father has already chosen a more suitable husband for her, but that won’t stop the proud descendant of the Incas. Martin also has another concern—he and his father lead the uprising of the indigenous people, who are determined to drive out the descendants of the Spanish colonizers.
