Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky is a classic of Russian literature and a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR. K. Paustovsky’s books have been translated into many languages of the world time and again. In the second half of the 20th century, his novellas and stories were included in Russian school curricula for middle grades as one of the narrative and stylistic models of landscape and lyrical prose.
