“Little Opera” is a collection of works by Slava Sè, who—after retraining from director to plumber—gave the world several wonderful books, including “The Plumber, His Cat, His Wife, and Other Details,” “Divorces,” “Eve,” and others. In this collection, readers will find three independent works: “Little Opera,” “Swingers,” “Masha, dacha, quarantine, and other things.” The book was born during the pandemic era, when the whole world was closed down by quarantine. The collection is dedicated to the twenties, when people—wrapped in masks head to toe—continued believing that germs and viruses would soon be reasonable, along with the climate, the economy, and politics.
