Previn Mistry began working at her father’s law firm and became one of the first women-lawyers in India. Her job is to carry out the wishes of a wealthy businessman, Mr. Omar Farid, who has three widows. However, Previn discovers something strange: all three wives have donated their inheritance to charity, and one of them even signed the documents with a cross, which may mean she can’t read. Previn starts investigating and realizes her suspicions were right: the inheritance case turns into a murder case. Now she must find out what really happened on Malabar Hill.
