People of the Sky: How They Became Monks

To give up everything and go into a monastery. It seems today it’s harder than ever before. Why do our contemporaries decide to take this step? What paths lead people into a monastery? How does becoming tonsured change life—both outwardly and inwardly? The book is compiled based on the cycle of programs by Yulia Varentsova "How I Became a Monk" on the TV channel "Spas." Their stories of their new life in monastic form are told by:
