People Who Are Not on the Map

A hymn to human compassion, “People Not on the Map,” is a work full of sincere emotions and feelings. It tells about the residents of modest villages in Guatemala and Nicaragua, whose hearts are huge despite the harsh everyday life. The author, a photojournalist and volunteer, makes their lives a little better by helping with medical assistance.

Evprosinya Kapustina is a talented poet, prose writer, and photographer, head of the photo department at the charitable organization Health & Help. Her works have been recognized in international competitions and awards. In an exotic village, she looks at the world with an unaccustomed—perhaps tender—gaze, capturing difficult living conditions and helping the residents.
