Love Not at First Sight

Nadezhda Sukhareva grew up in a family with an alcoholic father and a mother worn out by that grief. For the girl Nadya, the only happy escape from family dramas was rides on a bicycle—on her beloved “Devil” number 13, as she called it. But from real life you can’t run away or hide… And Nadya married Victor, whom she didn’t love, only because he was sober. Besides, her mother insisted on this marriage too, because she didn’t want that fate for her daughter. Only later did Nadya realize how badly she’d been mistaken.
