An anonymous “scandalous” poem from the second half of the 19th century, partly styled as indecent verses by Ivan Barkov and therefore often attributed to him. For a long time, the poem was passed on by hand. Exact information about its first publication could not be found. For a long time the text of the poem existed in oral and manuscript traditions, and as a result the poem now exists in many different variants.
