The early eighties. Military flight instructor, Captain Alexey Shevtsov is sent to Algeria to train flight personnel. The arrival of a Soviet specialist sparks genuine interest among the local military—especially among those who aren’t very fond of the USSR. Some of his trainees openly provoke the captain, but he tries not to react to their machinations.
