Ribbons for the Element

Arina is an unremarkable girl who lives with her father. Her life was perfectly ordinary—until she became the victim of a terrible attack. She survived, but all she remembers is how, behind a blue-eyed dark-haired man, crimson ribbons appeared and injured her nearly to death.

After waking from a coma, the girl notices unusual things. She began to see perfectly well without glasses, which she had never been without before; injuries that should have been fatal healed quickly; and at the tip of her big toe nail, a crimson-black border appeared. Could it be that she has turned into the person her attacker was? Or maybe she was always like that and simply didn’t know it? And besides, her beloved daddy looks exactly like the man who attacked her. Could he too be a monster that feeds on people?
