Lecture: "East-West"

In the new season of the «Prямaя речь» lecture hall, we will focus on exploring an extensive—and, in my opinion, incredibly interesting—topic: comparing different types of civilizations on the planet. The two main types are the East and the West, which have both common traits and significant differences. I want to demonstrate these differences, as well as similarities, through examples of outstanding individuals representing both cultures. My goal is to show what people of the East and West are similar in, and what they are very different in—ultimately coming together into a shared concept: the CIVILIZATION OF THE EARTH.
