Lecture: "Michelangelo Buonarroti. On the Bright Side"

The lecture devoted to the outstanding mind of Michelangelo—who was already called divine during his lifetime—is eagerly awaited. At birth, it is said that four muses blessed him, because he unfolded with tremendous energy in four kinds of art: architecture, sculpture, painting, and poetry. Michelangelo is one of the great creators considered a genius in world history. His name is invariably the first to come to mind when the Renaissance is mentioned. Now it’s hard to believe that with his unique talent he once struggled to apply it properly. At the beginning of his career, Michelangelo saw himself as an engineer ready to work for military needs, but his artistic calling prevailed. In the struggle between good and evil in his life and work, the bright principle achieved an absolute victory, overcoming all obstacles. This brought us the unchanged joy and inspiration.
