Lecture 'The Art of Asking Questions'. Day One: Introduction to Philosophical Interviewing

Have you noticed that the best decisions come when the question is asked properly? Even complex problems can be solved in an unexpected—but effective—way. Ancient philosophers developed a method that allows you to ask questions in such a way that even the most difficult issues become clear, and answers appear by themselves. This method is called the Socratic dialogue. You can learn it at a master class led by philosopher and public speaking coach Andrey Makarov.

During the sessions, you’ll learn how to create an atmosphere of trust in any conversation and how to formulate questions that help reveal the essence of a problem and contribute to solving it. Practical exercises will strengthen your critical thinking and teach you to conduct a constructive and inspiring dialogue. You will learn how to use the Socratic dialogue to achieve personal goals.
