A Remedy Against Illusions

For many, the life of Marina Letova, a producer at a recording company, seemed like a fairy tale: a brilliant career, fame in the Moscow music scene, a set household routine, and a famous advocate among her lovers. But somehow this glossy well-being began to weigh on Marina more and more every day, and she мучительно searched for a way out of a dead end—without noticing that someone had been watching her for a long time… On the other end of the world, in Magadan, photographer Sasha Ageev became an accidental witness to two criminals burying the body of a murdered girl in a hillside. Sasha went to the police, and the killers were found fairly quickly—but that was still far from the end of the dark story… Marina and Sasha haven’t even suspected each other’s existence yet, and even less did they imagine that they could only save themselves together…
