The Legend of Dead Ginny

The famous writer Madeline Stone announces a contest for the best plot for her new book. She receives an anonymous letter with a story from a small town where, for several years on the night of Halloween, young men disappear. To gather material for her new novel, Madeline goes to this town. Locals tell the legend of a ghost—15-year-old Ginny Hardy, the daughter of a wealthy townsman—who took her own life for no visible reason. With Madeline’s arrival in town, strange disappearances of people begin again, and each time it happens where the writer is located.
