The Werewolf's Labyrinth

From time immemorial, the head of the Sovunma settlement chose, by drawing lots at the council, the victim for the terrible beast. Once every ten years, under threat of death, the villagers were obliged to send a girl into the labyrinth of a werewolf. No one had ever returned from that dreadful place, and no one had ever seen the monster guarding it with their own eyes. Дарена was still a tiny child when the lot fell on her cousin.
