Radio play produced by the State Academic Theatre named after Mossovet.
Washington, 1910. During a reception at the respectable house of Senator Chalmers, his ideological opponent Howard Nox tries to convince the guests that property rights are nothing other than theft from a common worker of a substantial share of his earnings. At the same time, a real theft has taken place: documents have been stolen that compromise the magnate Anthony Starkweather, one of the pillars of American civilization. Margaret, Starkweather’s daughter and the wife of Senator Chalmers, is involved in the case—she has sided with Howard Knox.
