Description
The novel “Red Buben” is a fantastic work in which events unfold both on Earth and in outer space. The central place is occupied by the star Radmax, the source of all energy in the universe, which soon is going to direct its power at Earth. All of this will happen in the small village of Krasny Buben in Tambov Oblast, where life goes on as usual: moonshine production, Moscow dacha-goers, and neighborhood squabbles. Yet it is here that the decisive battle between the forces of Good and Evil will break out.
Theophastus Sebastian Kohauser, also known as Trotsky and under other names, seeks to seize the Prophet Elijah’s finger. This is the only artifact capable of transforming the star’s energy into a means of prolonging life. Kohauser is aided by vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures. Their success seems close.
But the Prophet Elijah steps onto the stage…
