Don’t believe fairy tales—they lie!
Let’s play with you, traveler: truth or falsehood? They whisper that on the edge of the forest there’s a hut made of bones. That’s true. They say the hut’s owner is an old woman—terrible and nobody needs her. That’s a lie.
Here’s a little more truth about that hut. An enchanted prince wanders around, and he peers hopefully through the windows. A wood spirit comes by to play cards, a rooster drives off strangers and evil spirits, and—most of all— the bone walls of the hut ripple, and in those ripples you can see the future.
How do I know that? I live in this hut. My name is Vasilisa, and I’m a student of the bone witch—the very same Baba-Yaga.
So let me tell you a truthful story—listen to it, and you’ll look at fairy tales differently…
