Space in the Blood

1957. Six students—three boys and three girls—return from the virgin lands. In the station square of a distant Altai town, the friends hear an announcement over a loudspeaker about the launch of the first Soviet satellite. They rejoice. They dream of the stars—but they don’t yet suspect how firmly the theme of space exploration will weave into their lives.
